General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Umzug Ruck Zuck München in the areas of moving, furniture transport, clearing out, packing services, and supplementary services.
By placing an order, the following terms and conditions are considered agreed upon.
Scope
These terms and conditions apply to:
- Domestic moves
- Business Relocations
- Furniture moving
- Clean-outs
- Packaging and assembly services
- Moving-related benefits
Deviating agreements require written confirmation.
2. Offer & Contract Conclusion
Our offers are non-binding unless expressly agreed otherwise.
A contract is formed by:
- written confirmation,
- Acceptance of an offer,
- Appointment scheduling,
- or commencement of the agreed service.
All information regarding prices, times, and volume is based on the customer's input.
3. Prices & Terms of Payment
All prices include statutory value-added tax, unless otherwise stated.
Additional costs may arise in the following cases:
- long run-up times,
- missing elevator,
- heavy or bulky furniture,
- additional stops,
- unspecified additional effort,
- Waiting times or delays.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due immediately upon completion of services.
Accepted payment methods:
- Cash payment
- Transfer
- Agreed digital payment methods
4. Scope of Services
The scope of services depends on the agreed-upon offer.
Additional services can be arranged on-site, including:
- Assembly & Disassembly
- Packservice
- Packing materials
- No parking zone
- Disposal
Unagreed-upon additional services will be charged separately.
5. Customer's Duty to Cooperate
The customer is obligated to:
- to provide accurate information about the moving goods,
- Ensuring access and entrances,
- label fragile items separately,
- provide the necessary permits in a timely manner.
The customer is responsible for:
- Cash,
- Jewelry,
- Documents,
- Disk drive,
- personal valuables.
These should generally be transported by yourself.
6. Liability & Insurance
Liability is governed by the statutory provisions of the German Commercial Code (HGB).
Statutory liability is limited to:
- €620 per cubic meter of loading volume.
Among other things, liability is excluded for:
- inadequately packaged items,
- Damages due to force majeure,
- Plants,
- perishable goods,
- Customer's own packaging.
Additional transport insurance can be arranged individually.

7. Terms & Delays
Appointments are valid taking into account normal traffic and weather conditions.
Delays may occur due to:
- Traffic,
- Weather,
- missing fastening options,
- unannounced additional work,
- regulatory restrictions.
In such cases, there is no claim for damages unless gross negligence is involved.
8. Withdrawal & Cancellation
A cancellation must be made in writing.
Costs already incurred or services reserved can be invoiced, especially in the case of:
- short-notice cancellations,
- reserved no-stopping zones,
- already booked additional services.
9. Data Privacy
Personal data is processed exclusively within the scope of statutory data protection regulations.

10. Final Provisions
If individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions are wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
German law applies.
